Maker's comments | Part of the 2,300 hectares Akesson family estate, the plantation is located in the Sambirano Valley, in the North-West of Madagascar. Since 1920 we have produced world famous aromatic cocoa and pepper. In this subtle combination, the fruity-sweet tartness of the cocoa, its pleasant flavour notes that evokes citrus and red berries enriched by floral notes of our pink pepper |

Tasting Experience | This is a "full flavor" chocolate bar. Very special. When opning the warpper, the fruity and floral sense of the pink pepper immediately come-out. The bar breaks with the re-assuring clear snap. Once in the mouth, it is a synphony of different and sometimes conflicting flavors. The fruitiness is joined by hints of roasted nuts, the cacao flavor keeps creeping-up within a sweet pepper sense which includes notes of roses. Whoua!! This is a great expereince. The after taste is chocolatey and peppery with floral tones. Overall an excellent and rare experience |
