Maker's comments | This chocolate is made by our cooperative El Ceibo, founded 1977. From trees to chocolate, we do not collaborate with producers, we are the producers. Our organic cacao is grown in Alto Beni, the low altitude tropical northern part Bolivia, and transported to our high-altitude factory in the Andes where we process it into fine chocolates. |

Tasting Experience | The main flavour coming out of the wrapper is earthy cacao and roasted nuts. It breaks nicely and melts equally nicely. The texture feels somewhat greasy rather than creamy. The after taste is strong but not that long lasting. Overall, a quality chocolate which could be even better with longer conching. |
