Maker's comments | This chocolate is made by our own cooperative El Ceibo, founded in 1977. From trees to the chocolate, we do not collaborate with the producers, we are the producers. This unique alliance will surprise your taste buds. As soon as you bite the bar, a unique dance of textures and aromas starts: the intense, smooth dark chocolate will flirt with the crunchiness of the nibs and salt crystals. The bitterness of the nibs enhances the intensity of the chocolate while salt brings a feel of juiciness and freshness. Salar de Uyuni is the world's largest salt flats, the only visible on Earth by the naked eye from the Moon! It is located in Southwest Bolivia near the crest of the Andes, 3.500m meters high. |

Tasting Experience | The bar breaks cleanly without a strong flavour. Once in the mouth the aroma of the strong cacao develops first. The somewhat crunchy texture delivers a nice bitter taste and tastes earthy. The salt increases the contrast with the cacao and allows to feel some sweetness in a bar that is not sweet. A rare mix. |
