Tasting Experience This new chocolate from Madagascar's historic chocolate factory is a pleasant surprise. Obviously aiming out of its traditional local target, Robert has produced a very good bar while keeping cost and image consistent. Opening the wrapper delivers the strong earthy flavour typical of the Sambirano beans. Although most likely a Forrastero, this bar has a fruity aroma and scents of copper on top of the Roasted nuts tones. Fairly pale despite its 68% cacao content, the bar breaks nicely and melts gently in the mouth. Then, the chocolatey feeling, associated with the jute or copper note comes out. Because of the cacao nibs incorporated into the paste, the texture is both crunchy and soft, without being greasy. The after taste is first chocolatey to slide to Roasted nuts.Overall, a very good chocolate with the signature taste of the Sambirano.
