Tasting Experience | This elegantly wrapped chocolate bar delivers a strong fruity flavour when opening it. The bar is not dark, as the high cacao percentage would make you expect, and breaks nicely. In the mouth, the cacao fruitiness is joined by a hint of roasted nuts aroma and a pleasant chocolatey flavour. The fruitiness which is the Criollo's signature is perfect. No sugary feeling at all but a soft and gentle sweetness. No bitterness at all but a vigorous chocolatey flavour. The texture is soft and creamy without being oily or oversoft. The after taste manages to be long or very long without being strong or bitter at any time. Overall, a superb chocolate bar and a unique experience for criollo lovers (who isn't?). |
