Tasting Experience | The nice brown packaging opens on a simple foil that frees a strong cacao flavor with growing roasted nuts and jute sensations. The texture is somewhat rugged, probably due to its grinding and to highlight the artisan origin of the bean. This grainy feeling compounded by the the added cacao nibs increase further the robustness of the bar by providing a crunchy feeling under the teeth. There is a strong a acidity sensation. A peak of cacao bitterness can be felt towards the end of the tasting mixed with a passing hint of red fruit on the finish. Overall a good chocolate that will please tasters looking for rugged and "close to the bean" sensations. |
