Cuyagua is a small village near Chuao. The quality of its cocoa is due to the type of trees growing on the plantation, mainly Criollo, but also to the ancestral growing, fermentation and drying methods. It is also the cocoa with the closest similarities to the Chuao of all Venezuela. The unique characteristics of the terroir and the knowhow of our chocolatiers enabled us to develop the exceptional aromas of this cocoa. A grand cru! This chocolate is powerful, well balanced, with crisps acidity and fruitiness with hint raspberry.

This range of "Excellence" chocolates is amazing. This Cuyagua bar has everything. The aromas escaping when opening the elegant box/wrapper are a concert of many flavors, but always in gentle quantities. They include the nice bitterness of cacao, the fruitiness of the Criollo, the mild creaminess of the cacao butter. While melting in the mouth these aromas develop further into a wonderful mix enhanced by a perfect texture. The after taste is more of the same paradisiac sensations. Without ever being too much of any. A wonderful and rare experience.
