On the central Coast of Venezuela is a remote Valley known as "Ocumare de la Costa" barely accessible for centuries. The Ocumare region is known for its superior Criollo cacao. I hand selected the beans we use in this bar in Ocumare for their pronounced plum and delicate floral notes that underscore their fine chocolate profile. We carefully roast the beans in our antique cocoa roaster to deepen their inherent flavour. These are some of the finest beans I've discovered and from which we have crafted chocolate I believe you will appreciate.

A dream for the senses
Opening a bar from AMANO is always a special event. Among Amano's collection the Ocumare is an exceptional chocolate. Opening the yellow foil wrapper delivers a gentle fruity aroma mixed with cacao flavour. While melting in the mouth the bar reveals its unique characteristics. All the fruity sensations come alive in a gentle mix where floral notes enhance the fruitiness plum or apricot sensations for the Criollo bean. The texture has a perfect balance between softness, creaminess and substance. The long after taste feels like a smiling goodbye while your taste buds recover from this superbe experience. Overall, a memorable exquisite experience.
